Oh wow, I’m so excited for this!!! Okay I have a question, though it may be too broad: HOW is this little house, that is somehow bigger inside than out, stuffed with books…. So successful and even profitable or even able to maintain in the wave of amazon, corporate bookstores, an e-readers? When I go in a used bookstore it seems like the profit margins couldn’t possibly even pay the rent or employees, so I’m curious.
I second this curiosity. I loooooooove books - my favorite places are bookstores new and used. San Francisco has had so many of its bookstores close and it’s heartbreaking. I’m excited to follow this thread of yours!
I like this. I also feel like your parents must have a wealth of insight, opinions, interesting stories and experience, that could really help bring an interesting and more human layer to what you share around business stuff, what you’re learning, and even any books you curate. Weave them into it!
